I have a client with WK2 server installed, systems has been runnig fine for
about 2 years, Have the OS installed on a hardware mirrored drives, one of
the drive failed and I replaced it and rebuilt the mirror, system booted up
fine, performed all the updated from Microsoft and also updated the Norton
Antivirus, When I did it found some virus' and removed them, After a reboot
the system almost gets to the log on screen and then reboots, I can boot to
last know good configuartion, will not boot to safe mode or active directory
restore. Removed norton still same problem. I did proform a backup of the
system and the system state but cannot restore unless I boot to active
directory restor. Any body got any ideas.

Boot from the server CD and choose "setup" from
the inital setup/repair choice.

When setup finds the existing installation and asks
if you want to repair it, answer yes. A full
setup-mode repair may cure the defect.

If not, short of doing a complete tape restore,
you can install a second, clean copy of Windows
Server and use it to examine the event logs
and registry on the failing copy. If you can get
some sense of what is causing the problem
you may be able to patch it enough to get it
to boot or at least repair it.

Thank you, I hope that there might be another fix, i thought about redoing
the setup but I was hoping I wouldn't have to get to that, but I may have
too. I will let you know what happens.
