LaserJet 2200 prints gray background

I have an HP LaserJet 2200 printer that prints blank pages. When I print the test page, it prints a gray background on the entire page except for the corners. Does anyone have an idea on how to resolve this?
 
Sounds like the Fuser Unit or fixing film is at fault, I dunno how much a replacement is but some are more expensive than buying a new printer.

I take it you replaced the toner with new. ;)

A good 'servicing' shop will tell you more. :thumb:
