Laptop Unlcoking

Hello Every body,

Sorry for not being on Forums but got stuck up with few things. Anyways I got a Laptop from Friend which is asking for password. I heared (Even know one buddy, who can do unlocking for me) But I want to do it by my self. Anybody knows any software used to unlock the laptops. I think it is BIOS Lock but can't say any thing. Any body knows how to unlock the Laptops. It is IBM Thinkpad.

Most probably I will be looking for a BIOS Jumper (Which I don't know in Laptops).

Why don't you get in touch with IBM direct and i'm sure they will help you.

the only legal way around it is contacting IBM

they will have the correct software for u

where is it asking for a password?
in bios or where?

It is asking a password when we turn it ON. Isn't it legal to unlock that Laptop? If it isn't then I will prefer not to do this.

I will be getting that Laptop for Repair so I was preparing my self for that to do it as soon as I will get it.

right well thats a password related to bios

u can get around this
but like i told u be4 u r going to have to ask bill gates or IBM if u want to do it legally
