Laptop Screens Help Please.

I know this is not the right group for this question but so far I've gotten
nothing other than good advice from very knowledgeable people who hang out
here, so I'll try.

I'm about to get a laptop and have been pondering whether to get one with
XGA or SXGA.

Any suggestions.

The laptops I'm thinking about are:

IBM T42 23795VU:
http://www-132.ibm.com/webapp/wcs/s...tegoryId=2049168&dualCurrId=73&catalogId=-840
Has 512 Ram

And

IBM T42 2378FVU:
http://www-132.ibm.com/webapp/wcs/s...tegoryId=2049168&dualCurrId=73&catalogId=-840
Has 256 Ram

Thanks for any suggestions or help.
