Laptop Refuses To Boot

Hi.
My Friend has a Toshiba Portege 2070CT.It Refuses to Boot XP Home but will
boot 98SE With no problem. It bubbles up about it wasn't booted fully. I
select any of the 5, it freezes, but responds to Ctrl+Alt+Del! Anyone no of
anything that could be wrong with it?

The problem was, it had an infected MBR and could not boot. Since my friend
could not locate their XP Disc, my friend is going to sick with 98
