Laptop and desktop?

It has been suggested to me that I get Excel to enable others to send me
excel files to work with. I have been opening them fine with MSworks
and OpenOffice. Howevr, I am not against buying Excel. what I would
like to know, is if I do buy it, will I be able to put it on both my
laptop and desktop. If I remember correctly the MS
copyright/activations protections prevent putting their programs on more
than one machine. I WILL NOT buy two copies!

thanks

NS,

If you purchase the full retail version of Excel (or Office), you
can install it on both a desktop and a laptop.
