Working on a problem for a friend. He recently installed and since then it
appears that a different langauge has been selected that the OS doesn't know
how to render. All filenames and menu names are in a symbolic alphabet.
I've tried to modify his local and language to English but have been
unsucessfull. I've also reinstalled his video drivers. Nothing seems to
work.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi Brent]!!

I suspect that when ur fren/his administrator try to install the OS he
currently use, he may be accidentally choose another lang. that may not be
recognize by the system. So, i suggest that you did better ask ur fren/his
admin. to reinstall his OS with the OS disc and be sure to select English in
the language option when it prompt you durin installation of the OS. Hope it
helps. ByEz!!!~~
