Just beside to the left of the system tray, (Taskbar is in default
position), is a little blue square with "EN" on it - i.e. the "language
bar."
I can right-click Taskbar | select Toolbars and clear the check box for this
langauge bar and it is switched off but after rebooting it's back again.
I've tried unlocking the toolbar | switching off the language bar | lock
toolbar ...and it still comes back after a reboot.
On the Language "Text Services and Input Languages" there are two items:-
English (United Kingdom) keyboard and
English (United States) keyoboard
....( there never appears to me to be a way of only ever installing one
keyboard during Windows installation, I always end up with an American one
as well ! )
...is it having two keyboards available that's giving me a stubborn little
blue "EN" ?
....any clues gratefully accepted
