Hello, I have a problem with my LAN. I have 2 PC:

PC1: 192.168.1.11 (win2000; name: wanagi)
PC2: 192.168.1.13 (winXP Pro SP2; name pspaleny)

both are connect to ADSL modem 192.168.1.1 (this is gateway for PC1 and
PC2)

Problem is, that they can not see each other. NetBios is turn on in PC1
and PC2.

When i get on PC2 ping to PC1 via IP adress, then it's OK. But when I
use a name, than it fails.

PC1 can not ping PC2 via IP adress or the name...

The problem is when i have firewall on or off. In firewall's log I have
no message about blocks packets...

where can be a problem?

Thanks

Pavel

You made a good start when quoting the IP addresses. You
now need to go one step further and post the output from this
command from each PC:

ipconfig /all

You should also state the respective workgroup names.
