2k + XPh + 98se + home lan + wireless router = disaster

having a few problems with my home network,

I have three computers (at the moment): a Windows 2k laptop, a WinXP home
pc, and a Win98se pc. The two pcs connect to a dg834g (wireless adsl
firewall router) with ethernet cables, and the laptop connects (well should)
to the router through a wireless 801.11b connection using a DrayTek Vigor
520 pcmcia card.

My problem is that the router seems to be working fine, all of the computers
can connect to the net, and the two pcs can see eachother in net
neighbourhood + can share files printers etc. The problem comes when the
laptop is added into the mix.

The laptop cannot see the other computers and the computers can't see it,
however as the laptop is connected to router and can connect to the net, I
would have thought that the computers being able to see eachother would also
work.

I have tried the ping command and these are what I have seen:
PC1 XP
PC2 98se
LP1 2K

PC1 > PC2 Ping OK
PC1 > LP1 Ping OK
PC2 > PC1 Ping OK
PC2 > LP1 Ping OK
LP1 > PC1 Ping NO
LP1 > PC2 Ping OK

I'm not sure why I keep getting these weird results, as I would have thought
that if the laptop can't ping the pc1, pc1 wouldn't be able to ping the
laptop.

If anyone has any ideas on how to get the laptop involved with this network
it would be a great help!

P.S
All of the IP addresses have been designated by dhcp (by the router) : not
sure if this helps!

Go back to EACH machine and create a name and password that IS THE
SAME ON EACH! Then use that account to log on and you should be able
to see them all.
