Hello people.

I'm having a bit of an issue.

I've got 2 computers (XPSP2) connected to a 4-port belkin wireless router.

That router obtains it's internet access from a 2-port ADSL wireless router (Orange Livebox).

Connected to the livebox (Wired) is an XP Laptop.

hmmm, diagram...:

[internet]------[Livebox]-----[belkin]_____PC1......
......................... |..................... \_____PC2.....
...................... Laptop.....................................

(I apologise for the dots, but the spaces got cut when I posted it)

All 3 systems have the same workgroup name, and unique Computer Names.

PC1 & PC2 can see each other in network connections, can ping each other name name and IP address.

PC1 & PC2 can ping the laptop by IP address, but not name.

The Laptop cannot see the other 2 PCs, but can ping them.

So I'm guessing this all due to NetBIOS. I have NetBIOS over TCP/IP enabled on all 3 computers

If you need it... (bear in mind, I live with people who don't understand networks, but need to be able to navigate it, so addresses have been made easy for them)

Livebox (router) IP address is 192.168.1.100
Laptop IP address is 192.168.1.2
Belkin (router) IP address is 192.168.2.100
PC1 IP Address is 192.168.2.1
PC2 IP Address is 192.168.2.2

I suppose I could put them all on the same subnet, but because I needed both routers as DHCP servers previously, they had to have different subnets

So....

Any idea how to get the computer on the first segment to see the ones on the second?

Thanks in advance
