'Lag' when browsing with IE6

I posted this before, but I can't find the thread. Why
does IE6 'lag', the little globe is spinning on the top
right of the browser window. This does not occur when
using Netscape 7.1. Does anyone know why this occurs? I
have WinME, I have DSL - and yet I'm browsing with
Netscape because I cannot predict when IE6 will lag, or
churn it's cyber wheels. No one at the ISP can answer the
question. I hope I described the problem accurately.

Anyone????

Has anyone else experienced this? This occurs on two
different PCs. One at home, one at work. One is
WindowsME, one is Win98. Both use the same DSL ISP. Both
have the same problem with lagging. No one at the ISP can
solve the problem. Please help!
