lack of memory when transfering photos from camera to computer

If i attempt to transfer more than one photo from my camera to my computer it
comes up with a Lack of free memory error.Any thoughts on this ??Thx Chris

How much memory is installed on the PC, what is running(apps,
utilities,etc.), How much free space on the hard drive, and how big is the
picture file?
Is XP memory management set to something other than default?

Is the software used for the transfer windows or the camera mfrs?

If you don't tell us, we can't tell you.
