I've got a Kodak ESP 7 all in one printer. It'll print and copy but won't
scan. The screen on the front says "scanning" but it does nothing. It stays
like that forever. Then it takes a long time to cancel.
Any ideas on what's wrong? It used to work just fine.

One possibility is that things wear out and break.

Does it have front panel controls as well as software controls? If so,
do both access methods produce the same lackluster results? If yes, it
might be broken now.
