Hi, how can I have a program window stay always on the top, even when
I click other windows? Is there some Windows feature that achieves
this, or do I need a tool? I remember being able to do that some time
ago on Windows 98.

Many thanks,

On the desired window (you want to be on top) in between the miimise button
(-) and the close button (x) there is the restore down button (press the
restore down buton) this will keep it on top and the same process will work
with multiple windows you would like to keep open.

(if you have a few open it is a god idea to go to the windos option int the
application (usualy last on the right) and choose one of the arrangment
options i.e casscade or tile (both of hese options are available in verticle
or horizontal)

Windows does not support this. You can make Windows prevent that other
applications do not "steal" the focus while you work with an
application, but you can not define a window that should be on top.
Some applications come with such an option, so check in the software
for a switch for that. Else you would need third-party software.
