Keeping emails on the server

I am running Outlook 2003 on one computer and Outlook XP
on the other. I have elected to save the emails on the
server so I can view them on each computer. Is there a
point at which new emails are blocked from being received
because too many emails are on the server? Should I be
deleting the old mails every few days or so? The reason
I ask this is because in the last 4 days, I have not
received a single email, and there are emails I usually
get on a daily basis from several different sources. Let
me know if there is a problem with keeping the emails on
the server.

Check with your ISP about the size of your mailbox. Most will give a 5 or
10 mb mailbox. Once that limit is reached, no more mail will be delivered
to the ISP mailbox and hence, to your mailbox.

As for a setting, you can always set the server to save mail for xx days on
the advanced tab of your account properties.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

There can be. It's up to your ISP.

I would. I would also select the setting that deletes them from the server
when deleted from the Deleted Items folder. (Tools>E-mail Options>View or
change existing e-mail accounts>Next. Select your account and click Change.
Choose the Advanced tab.)
