Keep losing my shortcuts in Outlook 2003

My list of shortcuts (Go>> Shortcuts) have dissappeared. This is the second
time this has happened. Any reason why they are dissappearing? Are the
shortcuts saved anywhere and can I retrieve them?

If I will have to create all my shortcuts again, is it possible to save them?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry I should have asked- in future, how do I save my shortcuts? I'm having
difficulty in finding the option to save in Outlook

Sorry for all the posts. . I've realised now that the .xml is automatically
saved. So everything's good now. Thanks again for your help

you can make a copy of the xml after you add shortcuts - then restore the
copy if they are deleted.

this is caused when you put characters such as apostrophies or pound symbols
on the shortcut name.....

why does this bug still exist?

Can I recover if i dont have a backup of some dumb XML file that I shouldnt
need a backup of?
