Keep files from being copied

Is there a way that I can keep files from being copied. I know how to limit
the security access from inside the file. How can I keep it from being
copied from the desktop or in a subfolder to a CD or another computer?

Hire a thug to stand behind the user all day?

More seriously, if someone can read & access the file, they can copy it. You
can't stop that. You can limit their access to USB media, optical drives,
and the network, however. This is much easier if you're using XP Pro on a
domain as you can use group policy - using Home and/or in a workgroup your
options are limited.

Can't be done, really. If it can be seen on the screen or read, it can
be copied in one way or another. The only solution is to not put it on
the computer.
