KB893803v2 Setup Error

Hi,
Whenver I try to run an msi file from my shared drive, a dialog box
pops up asking me to choose the program you want to use to open this
file.
I thought that may be Windows Installer is messed up. So I tried to
install it and got following error message;
KB893803v2 Setup Error
KB893803v2 Setup could not backup registry key HKCR\IMsiServer to file
C:\WINDOWS\$MSI31Uninstall_KB893803v2$\reg00015. 5: Access is denied.

I checked the machine for any process blocker, it didn't help.

Found a solution on google;
Rename the Catroot2 folder, and then try to install the program again.
To rename the Catroot2 folder, follow these steps:
-Click Start, and then click Run.
-In the Open box, type cmd, and then click OK.
-At the command prompt, type the following commands, pressing ENTER
after each line:
net stop cryptsvc
ren %systemroot%\System32\Catroot2 catroot2old
net start cryptsvc

But it didn't help either in installing Windows Installer and returned
the same above message.

Any suggestion will be much appreciated.
