I have been using Kaspersky v5 for ages and thought it was about time
I upgraded to v6. So I installed Kaspersky Internet Security v6.0 a
week or so ago and since installing it i've been having problems using
Newsbin Pro. Kaspersky seems to be affecting my download speeds and
for the life of me I can't figure out which of the settings need to be
changed to stop it. The only way I can get Newsbin Pro to download
headers and files at max speed is to disable Kaspersky. Does anyone
know how to configure Kaspersky Internet Security v6.0 so that Newsbin
Pro will work OK?

Thanks,
Dave

Dave,

I'm sure you'll get a good answer on the Kaspersky forum - they are
always very helpful and responsive there.

SAME PROBLEM WHEN I INSTALLED SOME MONTHS AGO on XP Home cpr.. HAD TO
DISABLE ALL FEATURES. Then uninstalled it.

Sorry for caps.

I Installed it on a cpr running xp pro and close it when d/ling. That
doesn`t seem to cause any problems.

That's what i've resorted to, but there must be a way of configuring it so
that you don't have to pause protection or exit from the program totally to
be able to download files using Newsbin Pro.
