I just got a new laptop, acer, and it is networked with my older PC. It has
outlook mail and this has windows mail. My question is this: how do I
transfer my address book from the pc to this computer? I am getting and
sending email just fine altho it does go to both computers. Is this normal?
thank you for any help

I assume you really mean Outlook and not Outlook Express. On the old PC,
'File|Import and Export|Export to a File|Comma Separated Values' from within
Outlook will create the file you need to take to the Vista machine. On the
Vista machine in Windows Mail, 'File|Import|Windows Contacts|CSV (comma
separated values)'.

If you have Outlook Express, the process is ENTIRELY different; make a copy
of your Windows Address Book (.WAB) file, take that to the Vista machine,
and double click it.

Yes, it's normal for mail to go to both computers.
