Just installed XP, now can't read most Java

L

Lara T.

I have been trying to do things that require Java, like
log onto certain sites, play Yahoo games, etc. My
computer is having problems recognizing or reading Java
code. Applets won't load, can't get anything done. Help!
What can I do! Please help!

Blame the courts and lawsuits, MS was forced to remove Java.

Get Java for free from www.java.com

Hi Lara,

Due to a legal issue, XP no longer installs JAVA by default. You can
download it from the link below. Alternately, you can go to Sun's web-site
and install their version. If you choose to use the link, after you install
it, use Windows Update to get the latest version.
