javascript problem in IE6, not responding on JS links

i have problem in IE6 SP1 that when i click on javascript
links they simply wont respond ... not stuck , just doing
nathing..
i know its a javascript link coz i can see in the satus bar
writen for exepmle: "javascript:document.NgcLogin.submit()"
for exepmle , in this page the start button and the buttons
down there: https://www.e-games.com.my/asp/login/loginko.asp

btw , win XP pro , no updates what so ever , scripting is
enable on options , no firewall , installed MS java virtual
mechine .

can i uninstall IE and then re install it ? O_o

i've followed the instructions , reinstalled IE6 over the
older installetion , but the problem still remains :\
