I have recently downloaded the upgraade to Java 1.6.0 I have had nothing but
prolems with it since and am unable to utilize Java at all. i get this error
message:

Java(TM) Plug-in Fatal Error
The Java Runtime Platform Environment connot be loaded

and if I click ok button then the next screen comes up and I get:

Several Java Virtual Machines running in the same process caused an error.

I have uninstalleed and folowed the instructions atleast 3 times to

System Restore before you Update to the new version and make sure your
system is clean and up2date with security updates.
HTH.

thanks nass.. was trying not to system restore however I might be at that
point.. security is all up to date as is config and scanning...but if no
better help comes along Iguess it is back to 2 weeks ago
thanks for your reply, MJW

Go to C:\Program Files\Java, if there is more than one folder version listed
then use the Control Panel's ADD/Remove Programs option to remove the older
versions and then delete any leftover files and folders that may still exist
for the older versions.

TY JS i already did remove all the older versions of java from add/remove..i
went backto ground zero and i am still having this problem... now interesting
that you say remove all the old files do you mean therre in add/remove or
elsewhere??

thanks, MJW

The actual Java files are located in C:\Program Files\Java\jre.....
(Example: C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_09) Older version
(C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_01) Newest
