Java sites not loading

I have a problem where some java based websites wont load
properly, or sites with java scripted links wont work.
Please can someone help me, i am running Windows XP
Professional, Service Pack 1 (5.1 - 2600.

You didn't mention which Java software you are running.
If your system doesn't have the latest Sun Java 1.42_04
then I would suggest you use it, instead of MS's Java.
First, you need to download the MS-Java uninstaller prgm.
(unmsjvm.Exe). Run the application and then reboot.
Afterwards, go to the following website and install Sun

http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
Use the 1st entries Download button.
