Java Script Enabled??

chuck

Got XP Pro SP3, running Seamonkey, FoxFire, IE, and Opera.

Whenever I go thru a Proxy Server to the BBC web site
to try to get the IPlayer, I get this nastygram:
Java Script Disabled. I have gone thru all the
menus and Java Scripts APPEARS to be enabled on all
four browsers. Yet I still get that nastygram.

What am I missing here??

Maybe the proxy through which you are funneling your web traffic doesn't
support or deliberately strips out scripts, ActiveX, and other HTML
behaviors. Many anonymous proxies are like that. Ask the operator of
the unidentified proxy how it handles your web traffic.

Are you using NoScipt with Firefox? If so, it'll do it.

Click your "Option" window at the lower right to grant
"permission" to whatever site.
