java problems with IE 6/7 and AOL email page on line

I know you all hate AOL etc but I need urgent help and this is not to do
with their software but their website and IE. I am trying to retrieve my
email from AOL's website and once I have logged in to the email page IE
toggles constantly between ........../ / //......./suite.aspx and //..//
default.aspx, I have left out the first bit of the address as they are
both the same and quite long winded. I have no problems running java on
any other websites and I have contacted AOL and there is nothing wrong
their end, sadly bourne out by the fact that I can retreive my emails
from other computers. I couldn't get it to work with IE6 so I thought
that moving onto 7 might cure it but the same problem exists. I have
tried a load of the self fixes on support.microsoft.com and each one had
me disabling and re abling java controls to try and throw me over to
finding AOL at fault but it didn't work whatever I did. It has to be an
IE problem. Can anyone help?? I only have the one computer at
home.....emails are mounting rapidly and I have no time during the day to
try and recover them. Thanks in advance.
