Java applet

I just installed winxp pro with all updates. Under win 98 i used to do a
daily puzzle on the internet.

Under winxp pro, i cannot get the java applet that shows the puzzle. I only
get a box with a little " x " in the top left corner.

What should i change in my ie setup to enable the viewing of my favorite
puzzle?

I found what was missing, the java virtual machine.

I can now see my favorite puzzle.
