Japanese Text Support

Hi, Can anyone tell me what i need to do to get windows xp home to display
japanese text, for example in explorer and in iTunes for song titles? I seem
to remember that it was the case that when i tried to access a japanese page,
explorer would ask me if I wanted to display japanese characters. Any ideas?
I found something on the site here about japanese text support for Office,
but not sure if its the same. Thanks for your help!

click on start , control panel , regional and language settings then install
east asain language and then hit the down arrow on language used in menues
and dialogs and select the right language
