Ive lost my dvd rw drive

help! since loading itunes I have lost my dvd rw drive. In manager it has an
exclamation mark next to the two files. The message is windows successfully
loaded driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device (code 41)
any ideas!

Thanks for the reply, I have uninstalled the drive but the same thing keeps
happening, it still appears with exclamation marks next to it when re
installing.

Any further ideas, thanks.
