It worked before I upgraded to movie maker 2

Using moviemaker under XP worked fine with my digital camcorder (Samsung). I downloaded the movie maker 2 upgrade and now, although moviemaker2 controls the camcorder and apperas to be trying to capture video, the preview screen is black and does not display the movie being captured

Then, when you press 'finish' an error message occurs saying that the video did not capture properly and to check that the camcorder is configured correctly

I have changed nothing on the camcorder or computer since the upgrade

Any ideas
