Movie Maker... from XP to Windows 7

As Movie Maker evolved, Microsoft helped those who had problems running MM6
in Vista by releasing a special MM2.6 version, which is similar to MM2.1 in
Vista.

Beyond Vista, Movie Maker has moved to be part of the Windows Live Suite...
as Windows Live Movie Maker, an optional download to users of Vista and
Windows Live.... there's no version of Movie Maker in Windows 7, but Windows
DVD Maker is included.

Get and hold onto your MM2.6 as it installs and works fine in Windows 7. But
it doesn't have a feature to capture video from a camcorder by firewire. To
add that feature to Windows 7, download the Windows Live Suite and use its
capture wizard.

Windows Movie Maker continues...
