Movie Maker support

Where do I get support for Microsoft Movie Maker and Windows XP? I have been
trying for weeks to get Movie Maker to work with no luck. I can't capture in
Movie Maker or Win DV, so I believe the problem is with XP. Does Microsoft
offer direct support for XP?

Paid for yes, but start here.
If MM and windv don't work, It could be a hardware problem.
What is the make and model of your cam?
How is it connected?
What are your pc specs?
Do you have any yellow exclamation marks in device manager?
Can you test your cam/cable and pc with another working* cam/cable/pc? By
working I mena you can set them up and capture with them, not be told it
works.
Which version of XP are you using, and SP1/1a/2/3?
Did it ever work?

Been there, done that. All of those things check out. See my previous post

I've been trying to fix this for several weeks, I need someone from
Microsoft to tell me what's wrong with XP or Canon to tell me what's wrong
with my camcorder. No luck on either.
