Issues with Microsoft Office

Hello:
Whenever I try to open Word, I get a message indicating
that the computer is attempting to configure the program
with Microsoft Office using Frontpage. I then get an
error report, and I can't open a new, or any old
documents in Word. This seems to have happened after I
bought a microphone, and couldn't shut the speech off.
The mike doesn't have an off switch, so I just unplugged
it. I don't know if this coincides with my problem, or
is mere coincidence. Anyhow, do you have any suggestions?

You should post this to the office newsgroups, the gurus over there will
know how to fix this.
