ISP code

It is my understanding that when you connect to your ISP that your computor
puts out a binary code to tell the ISP who you are and where you want to go.
Is it possible to change the output code on your machine? Thanks James

You MAC address is passed on to the ISP.
After that you sent it information on where/what you want to do dependent on
what application you are running.
