Something called Isearch has attached itself to my
Internet Explorer browser. It shows up as a tool bar, but
I cannot remove from view, toolbars as it and everything
else is grey. How do I get rid of this? Itshowed up in
winows/downloaded files and I dleted it, but it still
shows in the browser window.

.
Try add/remove programs fron control panel.Then.......go
to www.download.com and download these FREE
spyware removale tools,(1)ad aware,(2)spybot search and
destroy,(3)hijackthis.put each one in the search at that
site and download them,If you only do one make sure you
get ad aware,check for updates,before running it,it
removes that isearch spyware and ALL it's hidden folders.

From Mike Burgess:
First, rename your HOSTS file as "iSearch" hijacks that also,
preventing you from reaching many "anti-spyware" sites (including mine
Then download and run Ad-Aware (see below)

They also disable several other IE toolbar functions!

Copy and paste the below to Notepad
"File Types" drop-down menu = all files
Save as: UnlockToolbar.reg

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explor
er]
"NoBandCustomize"=dword:00000000
"NoToolbarCustomize"=dword:00000000
"Btn_Search"=dword:00000000
"SpecifyDefaultButtons"=dword:00000000

To use: right-click and select: Merge
