iSearch toolbar in Internet Explorer

Guest

This toolbar attached itself to my explorer 6.0, and now
I can't get rid of it. When I go to View Toolbars, there
is no "customize" option the way the MS site says there
should be. I simply get a grayed out list of toolbars,
including the iSearch toolbar, all checked with no way to
uncheck them. How do I get rid of this pest?
THANKS!

See this website:

And get the programs "CWShredder" and "HijackThis"
Keep your computer clean using anti-virus/firewall software and programs
like "Ad-aware"

From Mike Burgess:
First, rename your HOSTS file as "iSearch" hijacks that also,
preventing you from reaching many "anti-spyware" sites (including mine
Then download and run Ad-Aware (see below)

They also disable several other IE toolbar functions!

Copy and paste the below to Notepad
"File Types" drop-down menu = all files
Save as: UnlockToolbar.reg

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explor
er]
"NoBandCustomize"=dword:00000000
"NoToolbarCustomize"=dword:00000000
"Btn_Search"=dword:00000000
"SpecifyDefaultButtons"=dword:00000000

To use: right-click and select: Merge

Get spybot S&D and Adaware. Also go into add/remove
programs, and wipe it out there.
