Is Word 2000/Excel 2000 etc. compatible on Windows XP Home?

Dumb question but I couldn't find a solution anywhere.
I have the Office 2000 Suite currently running on Win 98.
Tomorrow I am doing a new install of XP Home and I am wondering if those
applications are still compatible with XP Home.

No problem whatsoever running Office 2000 on XP. If you are upgrading the
existing installation XP will do the work for you. If you are reformatting
and starting from scratch, then you need to backup your preferences (and
your data) - see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/FilesToBackup.htm.
