Upgrading from Windows 98 to Windows XP by purchasing new computer. Is my
Word 2000 going to be compatible with Windows XP?

Yes, that's not a problem at all. In general, running older applications on
newer operating systems is OK; the problems usually appear when you try to
go in the other direction.

There's one problem I know about that affects Word 97 on Windows 2000 or XP
(http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=257643), but as far as I'm aware it
doesn't affect Word 2000.
