I have a Home edition XP and I receive a security warning for the following C:\drivers\addlngb.nec as soon as the computer has loaded....what is it and is it needed or can i delete it....Does anyone have any ideas. cheers.

of your hardware devices connected to your computer.

C:\drivers\addlngb.nec looks suspicious to me.

The drivers folder should be:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers

A web search for addlngb.nec returns nothing.
A search for the file extension .nec returns nothing.

addlngb.nec may be a virus or scumware.

Update your anti virus software and run a full system scan.

You might be right about that file but I had a USB PCI card install drivers
to C:\Windows\Drivers

C:\drivers\addlngb.nec looks suspicious to me.
