It's been a long time since I bought my last desktop, so it's the first I've heard of the 256MB DDR ATi Mobility Radeon X1400

Is it a dedicated 256MB Ram card? Is it any good for 3D Rendering work?

Thanks!

I'm not weird, I'm a limited edition.

So would that be a 'yes it's good' or 'no it's a load of rubbish'? ;)

I don't understand pipelines, Open GL, bits per channel, etc, etc, etcccc.

At the moment I'm looking at 2 different graphics card, but are they in fact the same? And are they good enough for 3D CAD/Rendering)
1) nVidia GeForce Go 7600 256MB
2) 256MB DDR ATi Mobility Radeon X1400

P.S. I think the ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 256MB is a Hypermemory Graphics Card. What is Hyper memory? Does that mean shared?
