Hi Tammy,
To add to what Brian wrote, you can order a 30 day evaluation copy, although
it may not arrive in time for your course and/or last long enough to complete
the course:
http://www.microsoft.com/office/trial/default.mspx
If you are taking this course through a College or University, then you
might be able to find an Academic version of Office Professional at the
college's bookstore at a substantial discount. Make sure that it includes
Access before purchasing it.
Here is a link with upgrade pricing:

Good Luck with your course. Here's to hoping that you are on your way to
becoming an Access Junkie!

It's not a downloadable Office update. You have to buy it, but you can buy
just Access 2003, or you can buy the upgrade version of Office 2003 because
you already have Office 2000, and this is much less expensive than the full
version of Office 2003.

I now have Office 2000 and need Microsoft Access 2003 to take an online
computer course is there a way to just update Microsoft Access or will I have
to get Microsoft Office 2003 in a complete package??
Also is there a download for this or will I have to buy the program??
