Is SATA,Duel Channel,64 bit Worth It?

I am trying to get the most bang for the buck for gen computing, and video
capture/edit etc.

Looking at Barebones I see:

a) Int P4 775 3.0 ghz (800 fsb) with SATA and Duel Channel Memory $475
b) AMD 939 3200+ (1600 fsb) 64 bit, SATA and Duel Channel Mem $505
c) AMD 754 2800+ (800 fsb) 64 bit SATA (no Duel channel Mem) $395
d) AMD 754 3200+ (800 fsb) 64 bit SATA (no Duel channel Mem) $469

Which would you go with and why?

Thanks
Charles

Go with the AMD_64 Socket 939 system..

You can get a better deal than the one you mentioned in your post @
mwave.com (an excellent company to buy from)

Check under thier Motherboard/Cpu Bundles.

In my opinion, pay the optional $9 that they will charge to assemble &
test the selected bundled system (before they mail it to you,.. it's
worth the buck's). Doing that (almost) eliminates the
dead-components-upon-arrival bad news factor that happens sometimes when
buying through mail order.

You should do your own but here's mine as an example:
The system Bundle (url) i selected includes a great 939 Motherboard, a
AMD_64 3000+ Cpu, 1gb DDR Ram, & optional testing fee of $9.

NOTE: Sometimes their "online shopping cart" system goes down, so call
them for help getting your quote.
Try this url:

Theres Newegg and ZipZoomFly and Monarch too. Theres a funny thing
with Mwave which Ive ordered from before with no problems. If you do a
search sometimes a teaser pops up that offers you a 10 buck discount
on any Mwave order if you use the link. Cant remember how I got it but
I got it several times when I was planning on buying something and
others have mentioned it too.

You ought to snag the URL on that popup so you can reuse it
any time you like.

I think it came up when you used a search engine like Pricegrabber etc
it wasnt pricewatch the obvious one I dont think. Someone at a deal
site mentioned it recently too. And I think its random or its
triggered in some way probably where they try to get new buyers to
defintely buy from Mwave. They have weird combo deals too. When I
chose a CPU and MB in a certain way there was a slightly cheaper
price than if you chose it another way. Its not on everything though
and not everytime. I remember cause I tried to feverishly (ha ) keep
the $10 discount from the teaser and another $15 from the weird
combo deal if you chose it a certain way at their website --- I know
cause I kept doing it over and over. I tried to hang onto it as I
searched other sellers to compare the prices at ZZF and Newegg.

And then theres those price grabber $5 off rebates if you write a
review so you try to add them all up so you can get 35-40 off of some
combo.
