Just wondering if ccleaner is really all you need to ensure all internet history is removed and no files are left to clog up your hardrive?

Pretty much so, yes.

If you're not sure, look in your cookie cache.

Ok thxs

but i have a separate problem, when i type the letter 'b' in google it gives me a list of all the 'b' words ive ever searched for and other letters obviously. Not to mention the fact that when i try to log on to a website i type the letter C and Cartmanpwnsjoo is there for me to automaticly select.

How do i clear this data?

Thxs a lot for your reply

Im using windows xp,

Ill see if windows washer has a trial version i believe that clears this, if that fails ill re-install firefox and delete any google toollbar files left on my comp =/

thxs

This is what you do in vista, probably the same as XP

Load IE > Tools > Internet Options > Content > Autocomplete Settings > Uncheck the boxes to stop autocompletion.
