IRQL_NOT_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL

My computer usually runs fine, but on two separate
occasions it has crashed with the Stop error
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. Both times, the computer crashed
5 times in a row before it became "stable" again.

My computer is a Medion computer, and it has this built
in panel in the front called ConnectXL that has Compact
Flash, Memory Stick, Smart Media, and SD/MMC slots, USB,
firewire, joystick, microphone, and S-Video outlets. I
noticed that whenever the computer goes into one of it's
crashing sprees, it doesn't detect any of the card drives
(the 1st four mentioned above). Once before it crashed,
it came up with a message about how setup failed to
install my new hardware properly and so it might not work
properly.

I guess I can conclude that it was talking about the
ConnectXL panel, but I don't know why it wouldn't be
installed right... it was factory installed so it isn't
new and i've never reinstalled it. I've had the computer
for a little over a year and it only started this a month
ago.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
C.M.

Hi

This error comes when there is a faulty RAM stick in your computer or a problem with the slot that is used for the RAM sticks

To trouble shoot this try the following
If you have only one RAM Stick then you will have to check the RAM stick for problem
If you have more than 1 RAM Stick then remove one and see if the system starts. most probably it will start when one of them is removed
If nothing works still then it means you will have to take the mother board to a hardware dealer to check for inconsistencies with the hardware
