IRQ Issue

My GeForce 7600GT and my onboard sound is sharing the same IRQ, no.16, and is
i causing some problems can anyone tell me how to change the IRQ manualy as
the ACPI now stops me from doing that.
 
Thanks for that but my bios does not give me the option to disable plug and
play and i cannot seem to change my pc to a standard pc either
