irq conflict did it stop my dsl from working

I have verizon dsl, after being with thier tec sopport for
a long time they told me it was as os problem. Has any
heard of that or any ideas?
I have tried to uninstall and reinstall any possible soft
wares.

It is possible that an IRQ conflict can prevent an
internet connection, DSL or otherwise. What is the exact
conflict, and have you tried reassigning resources so that
the conflict is resolved? Please let us know where the
conflict resides so that we can better serve.
