IPSEC service does not start

Hi, I'm running XPpro, SP1a. I had Mcafee installed, but
removed everything. My IPSEC service cannot be started.
I get the following error " Error 10044: THe support for
the specified socket type does not exist in this address
family". I have tried everything and I am at the end of
my rope. Any hints would be much appreciated.
