IPSEC Service is not running

Hi all,
I'm trying to conect via VPN from my home (Windows XP Home edition SP2) to
my office using LTP2 IPSEC.
When I try to connect using the VPN client it reports error in encryption
data.
Looking to the services I see that the IPSEC Service is not running.
When I try to restart it there is a message "autentication service unnowed".
Do somebody can help me?

Regards

Carlos

What type of box are you connecting to at work?
Is it a Cisco Router, RAS 2000/2003 server, or ?

Hi Bill, thanks for your contact.
It's a cable/DSL 4-Port Advanced VPN Firewall Router TRENDnet TW100-BRV304

You will have to get a VPN client from TRENDnet for this router.
Just using IPSEC is not going to get you connected.

Hi Bill,
Even if I install the VPN Client from TRENDnet, won't the IPSEC Services
have to be running at my computer?
