ipconfig/flushdns

have Windows XP. Whenever I type "ipconfig /flushdns" I get "Could not flush the DNS Resolver Cache: Function failed during execution." has anyone seen this? how do I fix it

You don't have the DNS client cache service running ("DNS Client").
